Description
100% Petite Sirah from premium vineyards throughout California where warm, dry days are capped with cool, crisp evenings. After de-stemming the grapes, the juice was fermented on the skins for up to two weeks at ~80°F and aged in a combination of new and 2-3 year old American and French oak barrels. Initial aromas of fig jam, toasted hazelnut, caramel and boysenberry, with flavours of dark fruit, cocoa and espresso, full bodied with a lush mid-palate.
